Lo Magno artecontemporanea – Booth D3

Lo Magno artecontemporanea was founded by Giuseppe Lo Magno in 2003 in Modica in the south-east of Sicily. Lo Magno ran a small artisanal frame workshop, a practice that led him to establish ties with the most influential artists in the area, the same ones who were then protagonists of Lo Magno projects over the course of 20 years of exhibition activity.

The gallery and the art workshop coexist in a space that has its roots in the area but that moves in Italy and abroad thanks to public and private events and collaborations.

In 2023 Lo Magno artecontemporanea inaugurated its second location, housed within the prestigious spaces of Palazzo Beneventano in Scicli, a symbol of Sicilian Baroque.

Bassi Beneventano is the name of the squared art project shared with the art printing house Amenta and aims to talk about art in a transversal way, touching on eras, places and

techniques on diametrically opposed points.

The Gallery participates in national and international projects by collaborating with art galleries and institutions, but is also aware of the importance of dialogue with the social reality of its territory, and organizes cultural promotion actions or collaborates with local associations with which it shares the same objectives.

On the occasion of ICTAF 2025 Lo magno will exhibit four sicilian artists: Ignazio Cusimano Schifano, Emanuele Giuffrida, Rossana Taormina, William Marc Zanghi.

The Gallery aim is to create a bridge between Sicilian Culture and global contemporary art scene.
